My journey began in fashion design, where I developed a strong understanding of form, materials and the creative process. During my studies at Istituto Marangoni Milano, I was selected among the ten best designers of my year — an experience that encouraged me to look beyond the garment itself and explore the wider cultural and visual contexts surrounding fashion.
My curiosity gradually led me from designing fashion to researching what shapes it. After completing a Master in Trend Forecasting at Polimoda, I joined Trend Union by Lidewij Edelkoort, where my experience began with an internship and evolved into an ongoing freelance collaboration as a Trend Forecaster.
Working within this environment became an important part of my professional path, deepening my approach to visual research, cultural observation and the interpretation of emerging signals. It also shaped the way I understand forecasting: not simply as the prediction of trends, but as a continuous process of observing, connecting and interpreting changes across culture, society, design and fashion.
Since then, I have continued to work across trend forecasting, iconographic research, color and materials, collaborating with forecasting agencies and textile companies on both trend publications and bespoke research projects.
Today, I work as a Freelance Trend Forecaster & Color and Materials Researcher, combining my background in fashion design with a multidisciplinary approach to culture, aesthetics and emerging behaviors.
